2022 FINAL RALLY INFO FOR DA BUS
We’re only days from the 2022 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and the nearly half a million motorcycles, campers and party goers are inching closer to the beautiful Black Hills with more rolling in every day. We hope everyone has an amazing time and remembers to keep themselves and others safe so you can return for years to come. IT IS IMPORTANT TO CHECK YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL TO VERIFY WHAT PLACE OF PICK UP YOU SELECTED FOR YOUR WRISTBANDS. EMAIL COULD BE IN JUNK OR SPAM FOLDER . IF PLACE OF STAY DOES NOT HAVE YOUR WRISTBANDS, IT IS NOT THEIR FAULT AS THEY ARE JUST KIND ENOUGH TO DISTIBUTE THEM FOR US. IT IS MORE LIKELY EITHER WE MADE AN ERROR OR YOU SELECTED THE HUB FOR YOUR PICK UP POINT RATHER THAN CAMPGROUND. NO WORRIES!!!!!! JUST CALL US AT 605-347-3287 OR STOP BY OUR MAIN HUB AT THE STUMP AND WE WILL GET YOUR ISSUE RESOLVED QUICKLY.
*Da Bus will begin our scheduled routes Friday Aug 5 at noon and conclude at closing time Friday Aug 12.
**Da Vans, cabs and shuttles will be running beginning Monday Aug 1 for call ahead service. This service is not part of wristband sales. Wristband holders pre paid service begins Friday Aug 5.
***Your pre purchased wristbands will be distributed to your selected campgrounds Tuesday August 2nd. Please give them until late afternoon to ask them for them.
****Our office will be open from 9am-noon Monday-Thursday for those that selected a Hub pickup and want to pick up their wristbands early or buy in person. If you selected a campground you will pick up your wristband at that campground not at the hub.
****We will answer the phones between 9am and 6pm Saturday July 30-Thursday Aug 4.
*****We will answer the phone between 9am and 1:30am Friday Aug 5-Friday Aug 12.
******Lost and Found is at our main Hub at The Stump .
*******Last buses back to Deadwood, Spearfish or Whitewood, you must be loading on a bus to head to 4th and Sherman by midnight. If you wait until 12:30am to leave the Chip, Full Throttle or anywhere else, you will likely miss your last bus back and they don’t turn around. We do not guarantee you a ride back if that is the case. If we do find an available cab or shuttle, they are not part of your wristband purchase. Late night back to Deadwood, Whitewood or Sturgis is paid up front and is $100 minimum and $60 additional per person so make sure to catch your last #3, #7 or #9 bus back.
Bus#1 riders , if you selected Days End Campground, Baymont or Days Inn hotels, you will pick up wristbands from the Rt1 driver Jerome. Super 8 Hotel and Sturgis View riders will be the exception as you will both pick up from front desk at respective venues.
Bus#2 riders, if you selected you were staying at Big Rig or Hog Heaven you will pick up your wristbands at your respective campground and Kim will be your driver.
Bus#3 riders, if you selected Deadwood as your pickup, you will pick those wristbands up from the driver at any the scheduled Deadwood stop times. Please be there early as she will leave on the hour. Your driver will be Leslie.
Bus#4riders, if you selected Lamphere, Glencoe, Ironhorse Campground, Creekside, Bear Butte Creek, or Pappy Hoel / Full Throttle, you will pick up your wristbands at your respective campground. Your drivers will be Peter, Tom, Tammy and Dean.
Bus#5 riders, if you are staying at Buffalo Chip you will pick your wristbands up at our main hub at The Stump, beside Kickstart Travel Center and in Front of Lamphere Ranch and Glencoe. Buffalo Chip will NOT have your wristbands at their front gate but no worries, we are only 1 mile away!!!! Your drivers will be Mic, Leslie, JC, Tammy and Cody .
Bus#6 riders, if you selected Bulldog, Rush No More, Katmandu, Susie’s or No Name City you will pick up your wristbands at the front desk of your selected campground. If you are staying at Kickstands their weekly wristbands are All Inclusive with Da Bus so no additional is required. Your drivers will be Luke and Michael.
Bus#7 riders, if you selected Whitewood Hotel, you can pick up your wristbands at the front counter upon signing in. Your Ironhorse Hotel in Whitewood wristband will only get you to downtown Sturgis, will need to purchase a DA Bus wristband to get on any other bus besides the Orange #7 . Rob will be your diver.
Bus#9 riders, if you selected any hotels in Spearfish as your pickup you will pick those wristbands up from the driver at any the scheduled Spearfish stop times. Please be there early as she will leave at the designated times. Your driver will be Susan.
Additional Shuttles, Van and Cab rides are available . You can use call ahead service and scheduling or flag them down like a cab of you see them. Cheryl, Patience, Paul, Darrell, Jamie will be your drivers .
